Made with Kara UHT Coconut Cream and South Indian blend of spices, you will love this meatball curry serve with rice, flatbreads or even pasta!
A rather unique ingredient, Asafoetida, is being used in this recipe. It is the dried gum resin extracted from the roots of Ferula plants, commonly used in Indian cuisine to enhance the flavour of dishes.
Though Asafoetida has a “unique” smell in ingredient form, the odour dissipates upon cooking and will deliver a pleasant onion-like scent that contribute lovely aroma to the dish.
If you would prefer not to use Asafoetida in this recipe, you may replace it with ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder and ¼ teaspoon of onion powder.
