Community Contribution for the Vulnerable

The Covid-19 pandemic is having a catastrophic impact on the vulnerable communities worldwide, and even in Singapore.

In line with our corporate value of Social Inclusion, we are glad to contribute to “Free Food For All” and “The Sayang Sayang Fund” by helping those adversely affected by the pandemic and for the better of our society.

With the belief of minimizing food waste and ending hunger is definitely possible, and having the same sentiment with Free Food For All (FFFA), i.e. for the Community, by the Community. We hope our contribution will allow FFFA to bring more joy to the community through providing free, yet nutritional and tasty meals to the less fortunate, and empower them to become contributing members of society.

On top of immediate human need like food, there are many other possible ways to support Singapore’s vulnerable communities impacted by Covid-19. Therefore, we have also contributed to The Sayang Sayang Fund (SSF). Sayang has the meaning of “love and/or to care about”, it is a component needed for all especially during this period of pandemic.

By working closely with community partners and government agencies, SSF co-creates solutions and programmes to address the health, economic and social impact for those affected, enabling them to receive immediate aid on a sustained basis. These initiatives have the flexibility to scale and evolve into longer-term solutions as we monitor the COVID-19 situation, along with the changing needs in the community.

We trust we can overcome the challenges, together as a community. SG United.
