Kara’s unexpected publicity in New Zealand!
With New Zealand being one of the first countries in the world to allow fans returning to LIVE sports following the Covid-19 lockdown, it was a fitting result for the Auckland crowd of 43,000 packed into Eden Park to participate the Rugby Aotearoa match between the Blues and the Hurricanes on June 14, 2020.
A side story on this match, Dan Carter and Tana Umaga were water boys for the Blues and a shot of the former All Blacks together led to one huge cheer when Sky Sport’s coverage focused on the pair together. They could certainly claim to be the most overly qualified water boys in rugby history.
