Bubur Sumsum

Bubur Sumsum, sweet coconut rice porridge, is a delicious and traditional Indonesian sweet dessert.
It boasts a sweet and savoury flavor that will get your tastebuds hooked.




  1. In a pot, combine Kara Light UHT Coconut Milk, rice flour, and salt.
  2. Stir to mix all ingredient well and make sure there is no lump in the mixture.
  3. Add in the pandan leaves and cook on low heat. Constantly stirring until it started to boil and thickened. Turn off the heat.
  4. Melt the coconut palm sugar with water in a small saucepan and cook on low heat until slightly thickened. Strain and then set aside.
  5. Scoop the bubur (coconut milk and rice flour mixture) into a serving bowl and pour the coconut syrup generously on top of it.
  6. Ready to be served.
