Coconut Rice


  • 200ml Kara UHT Coconut Cream
  • 3 Cups parboiled rice
  • 2 Cups water
  • 100g roasted (unsalted) cashew nuts
  • 100g raisins


  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • 2 stalks green onions (scallion)
  • ½ tablespoon salt


  1. Add 1 cup of warm water to Kara UHT Coconut Cream, mixed well.
  2. Add seasoning to the mixture.
  3. Stir mixture well to blend Kara UHT Coconut Cream.
  4. Add parboiled rice and 1 cup of water to the mixture, mix well and bring to boil.
  5. Simmer on medium heat until rice is cooked, and all the liquid is absorbed.
  6. Mix the rice with the cashew nuts & raisins before serving.
